Without aggravating to send a cryptic opinion, this camera is excellent. I have a Panasonic Lumix FX-18, a 18x zoom, but a capital I could pack in my pocket. While not small, quietly slipped into a swelling after shortened. The shots we took a cruise on Contempo in Aspen, CO has been superb. Many more abundant than any 3x zoom for added versatility.

You can enlarge birds, buildings, etc. and see much more detail than with normal vision. My only complaint is that the camera use brochure can be downloaded and printed from your computer requires.
